Hello My name is Merete pronounced (Meh ray tuh) but most people call me Meta. I live in Utah with my husband, Nicholas and my children Henrik and Maja. In college I received a degree in photography, but soon after discovered my passion for interior design. I especially love working on children’s spaces. Children are colorful and full of life. I like their rooms to reflect their fun, loving, personalities. I believe that our spaces, especially children’s, can foster and encourage creativity. My goal as a designer is to help them do that, and stay beautiful while they do.
The photographs were taken by the very talented Yan Palmer. Not only does she take beautiful photographs, but she is amazing with kids! My son Henrik let her photograph longer than he ever has let me and was showing off for her the entire time, it was hilarious!
